Using Electrum Through Tor

• Go to Menu → Tools → Network → Proxy.
• Check the box labeled “Use proxy” to activate proxy settings.
• Select SOCKS5 as the proxy type. Then, enter the Tor proxy details:
  • IP: 127.0.0.1 Port: 9050 for standard Tor proxy.
  • IP: 127.0.0.1 Port: 9150 if you’re using Tor Browser.

After applying these settings, Electrum will route its connections through the Tor network.

Using a .onion Server

• Go to Menu → Tools → Network → Overview.
• Uncheck the box labeled “Select server automatically“. This allows you to manually specify a server.
• In the server address field, enter the .onion address along with its port number. You can use your own .onion server if you’re running one, or use a third-party .onion server address from a list. Just right-click on server and choose “Use as server“.
