Invoices in Electrum are signed Payment Requests. When you interact with a bitcoin:

This opens the send tab with the payment request:
This action opens the “Send” tab in Electrum, displaying the payment request details. The “Pay To” field shows the recipient’s address. If this field appears in green, it indicates that the payment request was signed by a verified certificate – in this case, from bitpay.com
. Electrum has checked and confirmed the signature chain’s validity.
The “Send” tab also includes a list of invoices and their current status, allowing you to track multiple payment requests. This feature helps you manage and monitor your outgoing transactions efficiently.
